When something inside starts moving, everything around us stops.
That’s what happens in the meditation, doesn’t it?
This painting was created around the time I started painting again without any hesitations. I couldn’t quite see what’s gonna be next, all that I felt was – I need to paint.
And so I did. This was the second painting of “The people” series, and the second painting in which I decided to use such bold colors. I remember, I couldn’t quite decide of the meaning of this painting. From today’s point of view – I think I was in some kind of a maze.
You feel your body standing heavy on the ground, but you also feel like something’s calling you so intensively, you cannot resist it nor describe it properly. And so you try to follow it: step after step, even if you cannot quite see what’s in front of you.
Sometimes, you just know.
