Did you ever watch “Midnight in Paris”?
There’s this beautiful sentence there that goes: “I love walking with you”.
The main character loves walking around the city in the night, no matter if it rains or not. In fact, he loves it even more when it rains. But his partner hates it and is always looking for a cab.
But then, he finds a woman who loves walking together and doesn’t mind the rain.
The most intimate thing that can happen between two people, is not intercourse: in fact, it’s spending time together without the expectations of filling the silence or doing something special every second. It’s the feeling of being completely comfortable in someone’s presence and knowing, that this person is here both for casual and special moments.
It’s a deep knowing that they’ll enjoy doing the things with you that you enjoy doing the most.
Not always because they love to do them: but because they love to do them with you. ♡
